I'm looking to swap out the paddle trigger on my TPS Arms M6 for a standard one. Has anyone tried this mod before? I could really use some tips or details if you have any

The paddle trigger on the M6 really fits into the whole design nicely, especially since it’s designed to work with the folding gun concept. If you’re thinking about switching it out for a standard trigger though it's not as easy as just dropping it in. You’d probably have to do some fabrication and get a gunsmith involved to make it work right.

So the first thing you'll want to do is take off the trigger group and have a look at how the paddle connects with the sear and hammer. Most standard triggers don’t just slot in without some tweaking. You might find yourself needing to custom-fit a trigger shoe or even fabricate a linkage that mimics the paddle’s shape but gives you that classic feel you’re after. Some people have had luck using parts from older break-action rifles but it can be a bit of a trial and error.
