For those of you tuning a suppressed AR, how significant was the impact of your muzzle device and thread selection on the gas behavior? I'm eager to know which mounting systems and brake styles performed best alongside your gas block settings, buffer weights, and port sizes. I found that the muzzle device really made a difference once I began using suppressors. The setups that were too “brakey” just blasted gas back into my face while the calmer, low-backpressure mounts made everything feel much smoother.

 I definitely went down that rabbit hole of tuning things and I eventually figured out that every single adjustment you make ends up affecting something else. It's really more about finding a good balance than trying to track down one perfect part.
