Chickamauga and nearby parks are your best bet for catfish, plenty of shoreline access and structure, just pick between convenience, crowds, and your patience level.

Last summer, Wheeler Lake treated me pretty well for catfish. I was fishing cut bait near those deeper channels around sunset and honestly, I did way better than I ever had on the Tennessee River.

Heard Dale County Lake has decent catfish. Is worth the drive if you haven't tried it yet.
