.38 rounds

After some time at the range with my snub-nose .38, I noticed that ammo selection is crucial when dealing with a short barrel. Given that it’s +P rated, I wanna know which rounds have performed well for everyone here with similar setups.

In my testing in wet newsprint, soft clay, & water all Speer Gold Dot in all calibers has performed very well. Weight retention is excellent. The fact that they make it optimized for short barrels makes it a no brainer for me. Sometimes difficult to find though.
