Greetings everyone. My name is Jack Dempsey Vetra Jr. I am a thinker with 60 years of real life experience. I've done most every chore you can do on the journey to becoming a master problem solver. It took many years to learn the tricks of the trades.
I've learned many and am still learning how things work and how things are made. My main trade is home repair, I'm in the process of starting my own legitimate construction/handyman business and will trade under the name Easy Vezzy Custom Carpentry and Handyman Services. I perform many other trades but only the one's I like ( I believe I have that right after 50+ years of being there and doing that) and to backup my statements with real life experience. I was a member of Troop 156 Willard's Maryland, under the Del Mar VA Council. It was one of the best decisions I ever made as I learned how to survive anyplace in the world because my Scoutmasters are Vietnam war veterans. Freddy Bare and Vernon Perdue were are the best leaders to influence my life, and I am thankful for their leadership and teaching. I attained the brotherhood of The Order Of the Arrow which is one of the highest honors my fellow Scouts could have bestowed me. Thank you guys I love you all. Then teenagers being teenagers I got my first car man she was hot, it was a 1974 Vega GT station wagon
with a wicked twist. It had a 327 out of a 66 Corvette 4-Barrel, headers, and a 4 speed Muncie Rock Crusher. That car was scary past 3000 rpm I t was wicked bro
Now it's Mustangs, I love Mustang I've been studying their history for 50+ years. My mom drove a 1968 Shelby GT-500 or that dad bought from a client who worked for Hurst car rental company. Riding to Piggly Wiggly in that car was awesome, everyone was looking at that beautiful native American chick driving that black and gold car. I was always ready to go wherever she said "let's ride kids"
my best to her as she continues her journey of life in the bossum of our Living God. I joined the United States Army in 1979 and reported to Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri October 79 and graduated as a 51-C back then that was designated Structure Specialist/Cross training as a Rigger. I graduated Engineer school on April 18th 1980 with a Honerable discharge to report to my Army Reserve unit located at Lewis, Delaware. As I had severe emotional trauma stemming from alcoholics trying to survive under duress. Father 40 working out of town while mother 26 run with the boys ( o well he loved her anyway). You can't imagine the knock down drag outs those two had unless you were there they drank and fought like cat's and dogs. Anyhow I'm a firm believer in if a job is worth doing it's worth doing right, give everyone a fair shake and most will reciprocate. I work for a Roofing company in Tuscumbia Alabama that trades by the name of JAGRIS INC. I was a lead carpenter for many years as was my brother. They are a family oriented business with impeccable references. They go the next mile to make sure you the customers are 109% satisfied, we never take payments for anything less.
Anyhow thanks for letting me join up as I love anything related to Alabama. I found y'all though a goggle search and clicked on and was hooked.l love books, I read something out of a book every day and watch videos on you tube, so as to broden my horizons. When I read about technology it gets the gears turning but when I read about Alabama and all it's glorious history why I just swell up with pride knowing I am living in the greatest state in the Country, I love everything about Alabama, the people, the places, the history of it, everything! Some people won't like me but that's okay I'll still love and pray for them. As you can see God is the most important facet of my humble life, I am a Born Again, Babtised in the blood of Jesus Christ Christian. I was raised in a Southern Baptist Household, my family and friends are next after God and Jesus , because of them I have purpose and everything makes sense to me.
I made it only to the 10th grade @ Parkside Highschool because of underlying emotional trauma (that crap sucks especially ,( when you add hate into the mix) it controlled my life often clouding my judgement , but after becoming a devout follower of Jesus Christ I was saved. Nobody is perfect we can try and try but the only true way to salvation is confess everything to God and he will give the answers, but you must be dead serious no half baked prayers but real from the soul prayer's, I promise if you do this you're going to be amazed. I work 16-20 hours every day and wake singing my praises to Jesus Christ for doing what he did for all of mankind, what a man, you could ask for a better teacher but your search will be in vain. I like old cars too, I found a 2004 Mustang GT convertible she's a survivor, very nice car. I bought the car for my girlfriend who was suffering from liver disease
the doctors decided not to give Marquita Mills a liver, she was a great soul, full of piss and vinegar. But life just seems to nut kick some people and buddy she got her share, if I wrote a book about her most people would think it fictional, but I assure you every word would be true. I'm not the sharpest knife in the rack but I try, and how hard you try matters. I love old stuff and love collecting things I'll get into what I'm into later. After all this is just meet& greet. Right? Anyhow I gotta get back to work now been on break too long, to say I have buu coo stuff to do would be an understatement.
