I’ve been carrying a CMP 1911 in my range bag for a while now. It’s not meant for competition but it has that nostalgic feel that you just don’t find in today’s pistols. I was okay with the price since I wanted something special but I’m wondering if the cost is worth it if you’re mainly looking for a shooter rather than a collectible?
