Greetings everyone, my father bought me my first rifle (a Savage bolt action .22 with a post pattern rifle scope) when I was 12 years old and Charlton started the my 55+, and still going, year affliction with firearms and the outdoors.
If we're going to be talking guns and the outdoors we're gonna have a good time.
I'm a N. Alabama resident originally from Michigan, which I still call home even after 40 some years. My wife of 45 years and I have 2 sons and between them we have 5 grandchildren (4 grandsons, one granddaughter)
My dad gave me the handle I'm using when I was a kid, "Here he is now, Bowanna Don!" it just seemed fitting to use it here.
