Red dot users

For those of you who use a red dot sight on your serious firearms, what optic size and mounting height have you come to trust? Are you aligning it with your iron sights, keeping it lower, or not using irons at all? I'd love to hear about your firearm model, the optic you chose, your mounting setup, and how you’ve arranged your irons so we can see what setups are effective.

All of my carry guns have dots. None are cowitnessed. All but one are green and 6moa or bigger.
