I'm curious about everyone's favorites. What shooting range do you find yourself visiting the most, and what makes it special for you?

The 25 and 100yd range in the back yard. Have a two shooter bench at the 100 under what started life as a single car carport.
Had a membership to Big Springs Gun Club to shoot out to Prairie Dog range but let it lapse without ever going. Great range, super nice owner, just such a haul from my house.

Hi Jack Vetra here, I like the freedom hills range because my sister and her ol main used to go out there and sight in our hunting rifles every year till she passed away. I like because of the history of the area. They say it's possible that Jessie James camped in the vicinity of the freedom hills recreation area, how cool is that? Also nearby they have built a archery range, a very nice archery range. And coon dog cemetery is near by. It's even possible that double head and his band of cut throats used the spot. So much history there, and that's why I would rather go up there then anyplace else. But if you come by and say, " come on Jackie Boy were going shooting" well I'm in just let me grab my stuff 😂 Happy shooting y'all, love me some Alabama anything! Roll Eagle

I have an archery range/pistol/ and 100yd rifle and handgun range in my back yard. If I shoot farther my neighbor down the road has a hayfield I can shoot to 750yds.

You must be my neighbor. I'm in Muscle Shoals.

I used to do some bowhunting up in the Freedom Hills area back in the day. Been shooting a recurve almost 64 years and still love it.

0-100 out my back door. 400 at another property I own 3 miles from home. I haven't been to a public range more than a couple of times in my entire life.

The range at Wheeler Management Area up on Skyline. It's a little ove4 and hour from my place but the good people who run Madison County have yet to give us a true rifle range. The range at Sharon Johnson is fine for handguns, shotguns, and rimfire but they have no place for my front stuffers or centerfires and none of the private ranges will allow me to use my .50 Beowulf or 450 Bushmaster.
