Red Dots or Iron Sights?

Just a quick poll for everyone

As optics gain popularity among those who carry, I can’t help but wonder what your setup is. Are you using red dot on your EDC or do you still lean towards traditional iron sights?

Most of my dots are green but still use them. I have them on every one that it is an option.

I agreed with exactly what Jester 560 said. Green dot color goes on everything now that will accept one. I still carry my Ruger LCR with iron sights but the miniature dot projection sights are the cat’s meow after you practice with them a bit.

I have a Red Dot on a Super Blackhawk Hunter in 41 Mag, a 2X Leupold on a SBH Hunter in 44 Mag. All other revolvers carry irons.

Oh yeah… LOLBELL reminded me: I have extended eye relief scopes on two of my handguns: 2-7 power on a .22 LR Ruger Mark II and one on a Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Magnum.
